The vision of Street Angels - CNI Network is to see churches and communities empowered and equipped to make the difference within their locality within the night-time economy. Since 2005 several models of work have developed including patrol projects such as Street Angels, safe place drop-in's, detached youth work such as Youth Angels, work in clubs like Club Angels and many more. This section of the web site aims to help you replicate models within your locality. Chose from the options below for more information on our main projects or contact Paul if you are interested in new areas of our work including Train Station Angels, NightChurch, Community Angels or are looking for support.
Street Angels
Street Angels (with several local variations on the name) offer patrols within a community around the night-time economy. Often the teams patrol from a base which is also a safe place drop-in (this can be in a building or a mobile support unit within the night-time community). Click the link above for details on starting a Street Angels project. |
Club Angels
Christians who hang out in nightclubs and pubs with t-shirts saying "Chat, Help, Listen and Care - PS we're Christians - ask us more if you want!" Often the teams will offer chaplaincy services within a club / pub venue to staff as well as help and support to clubbers. Click the link above for details on starting a Club Angels project or see the Club Angels web site / Facebook. |
Festival Network
Launched at Leeds Festival in 2011 Festival Angels has developed the services it offers within the festival to include a Prayer Cafe, detached teams and running lost property. We have linked with existing festival outreach (V, Montrose, Edinburgh) to set up Festival Network as a way of resourcing, supporting and celebrating Christian based work at music festivals, sporting events, etc. |
Love Your Streets
Social community action including #Do1NiceThing - freely available to help you / your group engage with the wider community. Love Your Streets is lined to Neighbourhood Prayer Network which is aiming to see prayer and action on every street in the UK. See the web site for ideas. |
