Progress is starting to be made, and last week we had a good meeting with the Councillor for Magaluf, who initially wasn't keen on the idea, but after 20 minutes had came around and now thinks that it is a great idea and is arranging a meeting with the chief of Police and the other Councillor who has to give his okay in order for us to go ahead. Praise God!
We are in the process of arranging the legal paperwork, and organizing the various aspects of the training.
We hope to be able to announce our first public meeting, to share where things are at and how the training will progress very soon!
Last week we met with the Norwegian church which is based between Magaluf and Palma Nova, they are running a water point during the peak of the season for six weeks every night, so we look forward to getting to know the team that will be visiting from Norway during this time, and working alongside them.
Prayer is still needed for the following:
- The Council and Police meeting to be sooner rather than later, and all necessary officials to be in agreement.
- Training agreements to be made with the Police and Medical center etc.
- Finance for insurance and equipment, the costs are not large, but currently we have 40 euros in the kitty and they are certainly more than that!
Thanks for all your prayers and encouragement.
Together we can make this happen!
